Let's talk is a social initiative for promoting psycho-social and emotional health in children, adolescents and parents. We believe that an emotionally healthy childhood results in an emotionally healthy adult life. Let's talk offers customized and need based counselling, embedded in an energising programme of additional activities using Arts based therapy, storytelling and traditional games.
Let's talk also provides a platform for parents, teachers, child care providers, NGO staff and other professionals working with children to dialogue on child development.
Counselling has always been very close to my heart. As a Professional Counselling Psychologist with a passion for working with and for children, I initiated Let's talk to sensitize people in matters concerning child development. Being accredited as Arts based therapy practitioner and trained storyteller, I can connect better with children and make the sessions more interesting and interactive.
I believe in constantly upgrading myself and deepening my learning, I have successfully initiated and completed Arts based therapy project VARNAMAYA under the fellowship acquired from Plustrust Bangalore. I have been invited to share my experiences in international conferences and worked at various contexts like Mainstream and Aided schools, Children's activity centres, not for profit sectors in both urban and rural areas.
I am deeply grateful to all my supporters and well-wishers who have made this journey so interesting and exciting.
